• Total cultivation area: Over 43,000 hectares, representing 70% of the country's star anise farmland.
• Harvested area: Exceeds 28,000 hectares, producing 7,500–16,000 tonnes of dried star anise annually, valued around USD 4,25 per kg.
• Van Quan district: Largest producing area with 14,500 hectares, 11,000 hectares harvested.
• Average yield: 2–2.5 tonnes per hectare, total annual fresh star anise production reaching 20,000–30,000 tonnes.
